General Practitioner Visiting Medical Officer

Position

GP Visiting Medical Officer for a hospital in South Australia. You will see all admitted patients in wards, patients presented to the ED. Providing surgical assistance in an emergency (this is very rare). Shifts times 0800-2000, 0800-2000 & On call 2000-0800

0800 Saturday 19^th December – 0800 Monday 28^th December 2026 (9 shifts)

0800 Monday 28^th December – 0800 Monday 4^th January 2027 (7 shifts)



January

0800 Monday 4^th January – 0800 Monday 11^th January 2027 (7 shifts)

0800 Monday 11^th January – 0800 Monday 18^th January 2027 (7 shifts)

0800 Monday 18^th January – 0800 Monday 25^th January 2027 (7 shifts)

0800 Monday 25^th January – 0800 Monday 1^st February 2027 (7 shifts)




Rates

* Up to $2,900 per day

* Flights, car and accommodation provided




Essential Criteria

* Fellowship of the RACGP or ACRRM

* Up-to-date Emergency certificates
